Sunny weekend

After scorching weather this weekend we've just had some rain and the cool air is very welcome, we feel like we can breathe and move around again without it being so sticky and hot.  Some pics from last few days, Grace wanted to show her fave teddy bear, we where taking pics of her new earring's but they haven't shown up too well so here's the teddy pic instead...

 I've been attempting to braid Grace's hair, this is probably the best effort, its so cool for her  and suits her well,  its quite easy to do - so long as Grace keeps still(!)  Grace had a sleepover at Shaylas on Friday and they went swimming with them in the evening, we had a drive over to Yak on Saturday its so lovely over there. We came back and just did the usual gardening, cooking, laundry, sleeping! Dave went for a 50k bike ride on Saturday morning before it got too hot.

Here's Saturdays harvest, we also had nectarines and strawberries, Dave made a zucchini slice and 'bandicooted' a few potatoes from the veggie bed and they where delicious we had that for our dinner.

Here's two of Graces pictures that she painted at school, they are so bright and cheery we hope to get them put on to a canvas and they will be her gift to her baby sister to hang on the nursery wall.
