All went well with my 36wk anti-natal appointment yesterday (apart from 1 hr + spent in waiting room). My measurements are exactly right for my dates and blood pressure spot on, iron levels increased quite a bit, thank you Australian beef! so I am hopefully building up some good iron stores for after the baby is born.
We were able to see 'parts' of baby on the ultra-sound as she is too big to see as whole, like on those 16wk scans, G&G enjoyed spotting limbs, spine, rib, heart beating, bladder and her head on the monitor and they gave her a wave. Baby is head down towards the left hand side so I'm feeling a bit sore and I'm feeling super heavy and larger than life, David says I'm a lot bigger that when carrying George or Grace.
George told Nanny on the phone last night that he had 'seen the baby and there is only one, only one baby and it'll be here soon, at night'. So they know whats going on alright.
According to my 'kidspot' email that I receive weekly - to remind me what week I'm at - it tells me that the baby at 36weeks is 47cms long and 2.6kg, those are just average statistics but I'm probably not far off that.
Excitement really brewing in the Kokke home, David has painted the nursery a lovely shade of lemon, there's enough space in the nursery for the double bed to make night time nursing more comfortable. Bags are packed ready for hospital, clothes and blankets washed and folded - and we're feeling prepared for our new arrival.
Hope your all well and keeping warm.
