Here's the nectarine and peach crumbles being assembled, Grace and David made them, the fruit of the trees was so sweet and the crumble topping was oats, raw sugar, almonds, the end result was delicious and very tasty with a generous dollop of cream and ice cream.

Sadly we have fruit fly in the fruit now so a huge bag full was thrown away over the weekend - such a waste, we think because of the wet weather the fruit is ripening late and the summer fruit fly has got in.  Last year we where eating them before Xmas. Traps have been put around all the trees now so we can try and get in control of it all.

And 'why oh why'  after deciding no more sewing for a little while-  I saw this material and thought it would look lovely in the dress pattern that i have just made, so a quick project for me to make over the next few days.  I was short of material for one sleeve so I went to Spotlight today with the kids and got enough for the sleeve and picked up a few more lovely xmassy materials that where in the sale.  Pic of collection below pinks probably will be bibs.

After that we went to the pet shop as we're trying to find a glass lid to fit our fish tank, as Molly jumped off a few weeks ago,  it and it tipped and broke, but they didn't have the size we wanted, also Grace is looking for a new mice house, well mice palace really, but they where too expensive there we like the ones we saw online, she has saved up some money towards it.  There are two cockatoos outside the pet shop in a cage and they where dancing for us which excited the kids very much.
Hope you all have a good day xx
