Soggy in our garden

And it rained, rained, rained, heavy grey clouds covered the sky, cold temps, soggy shoes and clothes, too much time spent inside looking out of the windows, obsessions with dams and quantities of rainfall, on a positive note we needed the rain or rather the garden needed the rain, and it did make a soggy garden.....

I did find some pretty flowers in the rain bringing some cheer....a pretty little hellebore

artichoke seedlings from last years flower heads, will be transplanting them when frosts have gone and they are a bit bigger.....
We have to remove the stone fruit trees due to disease and rot in the roots, we have replaced one area with red-currant bushes
Some inspiring reading, Kitchen Gardens of Australia, a lucky find at the library (a good place to be hanging out in the rain)
A few days later the sun appeared and it has been shining for a few glorious days now.
