A lovely end to the warmer months and as winter rapidly approached we certainly attempted to make the most of the warm sun and the eye-catching colours of Autumn foliage, and of course active kids. With a bit of a panic that we'd left seed sowing too late we had lots of seedlings in the trays and planted out with lots of planning for the spring crops in the garden.
George joined a gymnastics group and its on a Fri straight after school a perfect way to run around and release the tensions from the past week.....
This is the dog grooming van that came to clip, clean and fluff up little Bella xx
A she looks perfectly pretty here....
Georges swimming lessons are going very well, its one on one with the instructor, and only two instructors in the pool, here he is at water safety week so he had to wear his PJ's (which is a bit of a trend this month!) and he actually swam his first few strokes on his own and now there is no stopping him, he reminds me of a penguin bobbing in and out of the water, and the water is around 32degs so that is why it is so easy to swim in!!!
A little bird that caught Tilly's eye at the school one afternoon when we were waiting for G G.
A few more new arrivals, Shirley had 3 pretty fluffly bubs, the are not so little now but still pretty cute...
The seeds the veggie patch is not growing much at the moment, and we are learning to be very patient with our seeds as the soil isn't as warm this time of year so they have a slow start, be patient and it will be worth it, saved heaps of money planting seeds instead of buying seedlings
Brassica bed, a few seeds popping throughCauliflowers, now all planted out...
Leeks all planted out now...
This is a beautiful painting that a friend has done for us of George from a photograph that I took, it is absolutely gorgeous and has captured his inquisitive nature, here he was in a lawn watching the bees gathering pollen from the flowers he was there for ages following them.
A dress-up day at school for charity raising money for the local childrens hospital the kids where able to wear PJs for school...
An autumn walk with Tilly
Tilly meeting the 'girls' who belong to our lovely neighbor
A little bit of art from me, an attempt to brighten the walls with two paintings on canvass.
