Our newest addition to our family is Bella she has settled in really well, sleeps through the night, eats well, toilets in the garden (most of the time) and is totally adorable and loved by all.

our garden in the summer
So much has been going on around the garden its been hard to keep up with, anyway here's a few pics taken, the guinea pigs have a new home

They will be joined by a few chooks later in the year
lots of fruit and veg coming from the front garden, zucchinis, tomatoes, cucumbers, salad onions, beetroot, herbs and more herbs and watermelons that weigh so much the kids carry them between them to get them inside..
My hollyhocks are an amazing colour
The marigolds get brighter each time we look at them
The little blue flower that G chose he made a good choice will be saving seeds from all the flowers to sow next year
Time for some laughs
This is a programme on the Xoom pad that the kids have had a great time with!!! Ideal for rainy day play.

a weekend away
We had a lovely time at Bright for a few days in January, we visited a maze,
played in the local rivers,
Saw some breathtaking views,
Tried to persuade g to have his picture taken,
Showing M some seed pods,
Little Miss M turned 1!
Explored the grass for bees,
found a beautiful rose garden at Wandiligong,
but it was just too much for some.

splashing around in the river
On our way home from Bright we came across an area that we had heard was very nice along the Kiewa river - it was so peaceful even with a campsite nearby, we saw and heard lots of birds and the river bank looked like it had been landscaped for Chelsea flower show it was beautiful, a pretty place we will return to in the future.
