an update from down under

Time for a walk, getting prepared sometimes takes longer than the walk!

 Evening cuddles with Bella

Winding down time for G & G, yes really hanging upside down gets their bodies ready for snooze, well possums do it and sleep all day!
The garden, we are determined to get even more out of our patch of earth this season, so a veggie bed in the making here, taken out a low growing hedge along the wall and have planted berries, jostaberry, boysenberry to fill the wall.

And Daves little helpers are out in force on this sunny morning, a helping hand (and paw) goes a long way!
Or maybe they are just supervising making sure the corners are at right angles, let you decide who the boss is here...more garden pics to follow.

A vibrant Autumn walk down our street

Taking the dog out is wonderful on days like this, the kids running around to keep warm, and all the great vibrant colours in the neighborhood this season as you will see...

And back home for a nice warm cuppa tea, even though the sky is blue my ears where stinging!

Plenty of outings in Autumn, just perfect weather and clear blue skies, cool in the morning and evening so indoors is a good idea then.  We walked near the Lake here kids played by the waters edge chucking pebbles and sticks in for racing, MissM happy doing her own thing exploring keeping an eye on everyone else....

no stopping her now MissM  is free range!
                                                                     see what i mean!

We enjoyed a trip to the movies to see the Lorax in 3D and it was really funny, well animated movie, will recommend to all ages! especially Dr Seuss fans like us...

they even gave M a pair of 3D glasses of her own, which I spent a lot of time on the floor in the dark searching for.

He was quite cute and cuddly the old Lorax weird way of flying though..

These pics have got a bit mixed up when I've put them here so here is G in the school X country race held at Willow Park, he did really well and was quite pleased with his effort.

 Well done matey

Here he is at school pointing to his work on the class window

another park trip, cause Autumn weather here is so perfect for afternoons in the park
