Firstly a scarf that I am very proud to wear, hand made by Grace at her guides group, so bright and colourful and most importantly warm on these cold mornings, its made of felt with poppies and buttons sewn on the poppies...
Matilda way to big for her little bouncy chair has time on the floor now, and can flip over in an instant, has a kind of catterpillar crawl at the moment but doesn't get too far.....yet!
Smiles.....
Chuckles.....
She spotted her feet moving....
Which was just so hilarious!....
phew worn out from all that...
George incoming here for a cuddle....
aahhh, can you see her hair getting quite whispy now....
Concentration as Grace completes her lego city marine police boat...
Couldn't decide which pictures to post so here they all are......more to follow.

Sand pit completed....
Today wasting no time at all, once a few bags of sand had been added, they took the bucket and spades up to the new sand pit area - a few more bags to be added tomorrow and it will be nice and deep for digging in then. Some sunshine would have topped it off it was a bit dull and chilly but they went to the sand pit and were still playing in it in the dark at 7pm, lots of fun had by all...
The border spade is one that is always used around the garden and belonged to my Grandpa. The tree in front of the rock is a cherry tree so will provide some nice shade once it matures.

Updates from the garden and family
Here it comes!!!, the sandpit is under construction, very excited little ones waiting to play in it. Its been delayed this week by the rain but last week while it was sunny it got this far, it will be softened around the edges with a hammock, requested by Grace and we'll add wind chimes and some flags along with the sand will be a good sensory area for George, and eventually Matildas little footsteps will make their way up there...
Theres a lovely view from the sandpit across the roof of the house to the hills, future plans when the sandpit is no longer in use would be to deck the area and plonk a chair or two there....
Kids made a scare crow a few weeks ago..
Juicy grapefruit hanging from the branches, which we are enjoying juiced for breakfast....
Brasicas growing well, time to harvest this one I think...
Seasons changing, spring only around the corner and its already filling the air with its sweet scent from all the blossom around.
Grace celebrated her 9th birthday last week, she had friends around for a party over the weekend. Great fun had by all.....
First taste of chocolate cake for Matilda......
But then back to the healthy stuff......
Hunting mamas grey hairs.....
Oh happy girl...
Two new additions, Graces pets.....very cute....
And in the front garden over the last few weekends Dave was busy removing the conifers and clearing the area ready for planing out grapes, the grape vine is now complete, it looks a bit bare at the moment but will soon grow, and that the start of turning the front garden into a productive area. Can't wait to get planning all that area!
